Raveen began out of a collaboration between singer/producer Eric Seguin and bassist/producer Stokely Diamantis. After creating unapologetically pop-based electronic music in small apartments, the pair were lucky enough to pick up Peter Colantonio as their drummer in 2015 and have since been performing and recording as a trio in Montreal.

The addition of drums has allowed Raveen to push their boundaries into captivating live performances. Their live shows are energetic and serve as a breeding ground for new explorations in their production work. Pulling from influences in the worlds of Jazz, Pop, Electro-acoustic and Electronic music, production and sound design is as important to Raveen's sound as the performance that translates it to the stage. Their debut album marks their foray into more subdued and lush songwriting, contrasting with a maximalist approach to arrangement with orchestral strings, choir work and field recording adding depth to the trio's core of synths/bass/drums.
